ITALY'S LAKES - ONLINE GUIDE-Home

In 1989 I came over to Italy, for a 5 month ski season as a representative for a leading British tour operator Thomson Holidays. Where I come from (the island of Malta) we have no mountains and no snow and hence no possibility to ski, let alone do a whole ski season.

It was a very long 5 months as 23 years later I am still here !!
After my first ski season, I moved onto the lakes and mountains programme with the same tour operator, and here again I spent the next 18 years covering all the 4 major lakes of Italy as an Area Manager, together with the ski areas of the Northern Italian Alps and the Southern French Alps.

In 2003 I became a permanent resident and settled down in the ski resort of Sauze d'Oulx (TO) where I still reside today during the winter months, but my love for the Italian Lakes has brought me back to the lakes areas during the summer time.
